WORKSHOP DETAILS Ensō with Sudiebelle https://www.instagram.com/sudiebelleart Sudiebelle is a live painter and Reiki Master who has found healing and spiritual fulfillment through the Zen practice of Ensō creation. The Ensō is a circle that is traditionally painted in one breath and in one stroke, after a period of meditation. Traditionally, the energy of the breath is captured in sumi ink on rice paper. With the theme of connection, Sudiebelle would love for us all to connect energetically with a Zazen meditation followed by an ensō creation. Sudiebelle first started this practice over 6 years ago when she began her journey with Reiki energy healing. After Sudiebelle’s Reiki attunements and training she began to intuitively use Shodo (Japanese calligraphy) to paint out the Reiki Kanji (characters) she was using in healing sessions and to paint an ensō daily. These paintings would visually represent her healing sessions. When the mind is empty, the body is free to create. May you feel the gift of presence and connection through our community ensō creation! Materials:
Paredolia with Samael Indigo https://www.instagram.com/samaelindigo/ Samael Indigo, or Sam for short, is a visual artist based in Denver with a deep passion for creating vibrant, UV reactive art, often inspired by the mysterious beauty of deep-sea life. Over the past five years, he has honed his craft, and his work has become a staple at bass-heavy experimental EDM shows in Denver, where he collaborates with DJ friends by live painting. The synergy between the pulsing energy of the music and the glowing, otherworldly forms that emerge on his canvas creates a truly special experience. Sam is excited to share his process in an upcoming workshop focused on pareidolia—the act of finding intangible visions and making them real. In this workshop, participants will be guided through the art of embracing random patterns and coaxing them into recognizable forms, much like finding shapes in the clouds but through painting. The workshop aims to teach the delicate balance between directing one’s vision and letting go, allowing creativity to flow naturally. Through this process, Sam hopes to help others unlock new ways of seeing and creating, turning the unpredictable into something beautifully tangible. Materials:
