Learn about this incredible visionary artist and how her art and magical practices were all rolled into a beautiful system. We shall try some of her Psycho-Morphological techniques to place more vision into our visionary art.

Mythology Cafe is a weekly gathering on the Non-Stop Global Vision Train where myth, story and folklore are continually enacted and kept alive. Join Caren Chroma for a special session of intentional body paint focused around the theme : ‘The Muse’ , with special guest artists from the Visionary Muse collective. Together we will accentuate our true colors and witness each other transform.
Come prepared with a mirror, brushes, & skin friendly paint (Mehron, TAG or FAB are suggested brands) or get experimental with other pigments ~ clay, plant dyes, casein, charcoal, makeup, etc.
Caren Chroma is a multi-disciplinary artist currently focused in the realms of painting, body painting, photography, & design. Her main inspirations stem from the wonders of nature and the unique expressions of 'hueman beings'. After 10 years of exploring the healing benefits and transforming qualities of body paint, she continues to offer one on one adornment rituals and leads self-adornment journeys on the Vision Train. One year in the making, the Visionary Muses will reveal their Virtual Group Show.
Visionary Muses is an art collective that started in 2020. This initial project brought together 11 creators who have dedicated the last year to painting portraits of one another. Our mission is to highlight the divine feminine and the magic of the womxn behind the paintings.

Our hope is that this collective grows and evolves, this is just the beginning.

Rachel G has been a certified Yoga Instructor since 2003, when her first teacher inspired her to use Yoga as a way to develop a deeper understanding of ourselves. Continuing her study with her current teachers at Maya Yoga she has since completed over 1000+ hours of Teacher Training,which fuses the classical styles of Iyengar and Ashtanga Yoga. Rachel's classes combine the soft and strong elements of Yoga to bring a fun yet challenging approach to this powerful practice. As a tattoo artist she herself realizes the importance of creating a balanced environment within ourselves to continue to create with others.

In this workshop we will explore the quality of the heart energy. How can we connect with its wisdom and use that energy for our artistic expression? We will learn some ways to access it through meditation and awareness.
After a short introduction I will guide you through a heart meditation, which has the potential to open you up and let visions and inspiration come in. After that we will start a painting or a drawing. Use the materials you like. It is all about expression.
Then we will do a second meditation process, which will bring focus and awareness into your artwork, to let the energy sink in. At the end we will have a sharing circle for everyone who likes to share their experience.

The Global Redesign! We will discuss practical next steps in creating the world we are dreaming of!
Stephen Brooks has been living for the past 26 years in Costa Rica and is a world leader in creating thriving ecological communities, promoting permaculture practices and fostering sustainable food production models. He is the co-founder of Ecoversity, an on and offline ecological organization focused on training change-makers to fight the global climate crisis. He is the founder of Punta Mona Center for Regenerative Design & Botanical Studies. In 2006, Stephen co-founded and developed La Ecovilla, a 45 home community in San Mateo, Costa Rica. His most recent addition is Alegria Village, which neighbors La Ecovilla, and is almost sold out with 140 more families. Stephen, also co-founded and co-produces the annual Envision Festival. In addition, he has hosted several television shows on the Travel Channel, Discovery, ABC and guided Zac Efron on his recent visit to Costa Rica for his latest show on Netflix!

2:30 - 5pm PDT - Morphing Murals with Mel Andringa

After an initial talk presenting the history of the Drawing Legion, and introducing the concepts of Performed Painting; the event will shift to a Zoom workshop with active participation by a group of half a dozen artists in their studios. Things will progress to exercises, assignments, and eventually an experimental workshop. Following the workshop individual artists will show their work for comments if they are interested in feedback.

Mel Andringa has been doing performance painting for 50 years. He will be in character throughout the week of the Design Science Studio Launch. He is a member of the studio.

9 - 10am - Gyrokinesis with Michelle Muller

Michelle Muller will lead us through a 45 minute somatic movement journey, to incorporate natural movements that keep us supported and moving holistically in space.

Majority of this session will take place on a stool or chair, as we begin by grounding through the pelvis, legs and feet, and gently explore the essential movements of the spine. The goal is to move from internal sensations and the breath, that drives the external movements in an integrated and functional way.

The movements also follow circular and spiraling motions to mimic the naturally flowing life-force energy of nature. This aim of this session is to assist oneself to come into a comfortable physical and energetic alignment, with ease and gracefulness.

Monty from Urban Botanica Collective (your Local Funguy) and podcast host from the “Born From Nature Podcast”... is on a mission to empower and educate urban populations to cultivate a greener future with nature. Monty is a certified Permaculturist, Mycologist and runs nature inspired workshops for well being in Newcastle, Australia. In this Interview we will be moving our focus into the mycelial web of mushrooms and really looking at topics such as:
- Mushrooms being a keystone species developing our soil health
- How they are supporting our local ecosystems
- Medicinal Mushrooms and how they are supporting our mind, body and soul

Using the vehicle of art gallery Tribe 13 Jennifer Ingram supports the efforts of independent artists through creating opportunity and momentum on their journey. From creating new interactive experiences to bringing the culture on tour to new audiences, Tribe 13 is the on the forefront of the art, music and fashion world of the new galactic culture emerging today. Since the birth of Tribe 13 in 1997, with fellow artist Roman Villagrana, Jennifer Ingram has been curating and coordinating huge efforts which serve to help art, fashion and music in moving from the underground to the mainstream. Beginning with art galleries at the Oracle Gatherings in Seattle, then graduating on to the Interdimensional Art Shows & Tours across the west coast, and now internationally, Tribe 13 has helped create the space for artists of ‘visionary’ or ‘interdimensional’ art to exist and thrive within this defining culture. Jennifer currently lives on the outskirts of the Bay area where she is pursuing her art history degree to take this movement to the masses. In addition to her work within the art world, she also contributes and volunteers within the African Birth Collective in Senegal.

12 - 2pm PDT - Transition Transmission with Aloria Weaver and David Heskin

A deluge of dialogue with David Heskin & Aloria Weaver on the nature of Transition as artists into more regenerative fields of engagement through societal response-abilities. Taking a hard look at how and why we do what we do, and how we can align ourselves with a future that works for all life forms.

Weaver and Heskin owned a private gallery and studio in Loveland, CO called Luminous Flux, where they offered regular oil painting classes from 2014 – 2018. They were also instructors together at the Vienna Academy of Visionary Art in Austria (the world’s first international school for Visionary Art) and the Academy’s summer program in Italy from 2013 – 2016. Since 2011, Weaver and Heskin have been teaching private art intensives internationally.

Join us as we continue our 8-week trip series focused on welcoming creative minds aboard the train and commemorating the 1-year release-a-versary of the American animated series, The Midnight Gospel.

I am inspired by our First Nation people's Art & Music, & wish to share some of this on the train. Both music & videos of Artists. Although not indigenous myself, I have an appreciation of the link between Indigenous & Visionary Art worldwide.

I am a painter & a block-print fabric Artist living in nature in Australia. My other interests are our wildlife & rainforest & their rehabilitation, & I am a Mum to many. I co-founded Art in Paradise with fellow painter Yao & the Paradise One retreat Centre in 2013 after meeting Amanda Sage, & we hosted many Visionary Art retreats with International teachers (see artinparadise.com.au). I have been conducting Trip 1 for the whole year, & so appreciate the many friends I have made on the train, the collaborations that have happened, the paintings I have actually finished, and all the teaching & sharing I have been blessed to be a part of.

5 - 8am PDT - Connected Creation Art Jam with Makasha Visions

My journey with art is a constantly changing road into the unknown. There are ups and downs, branches in dead ends and unknown paths that lead me somewhere else than I thought. And yet I can blindly surrender to the trust that the path will always lead me to where the soul wants to go. Art taught me to cultivate this trust and today I feel nourished with its transforming and healing power. I have identified myself as an artist my whole life, but since four years I even have been feeling it as my soul purpose to do visionary art and to give support to others on their path.

I have been exploring the depths of consciousness for several years and art acts like a link between the visible and the invisible. I have experienced deep healing from my own and the art of other artists. My artworks express what cannot be described with words. They are inner soul landscapes and metaphors for aspects of the mind. They can only show a section at a time, offer new perspectives and transform into new beginnings.

8 - 10am PDT - Martina Hoffmann artist presentation and interview with Amanda Sage

Martina Hoffmann paints portals into inner and other worlds.
She uses a visual language, inspired by the realms of the imagination, shamanic journeys and the dream state, that she believes to be indigenous to us all.

Her great interest lies in creating awareness of our global oneness and universal interconnectedness and in portraying the forces that animate all life.
Martina has also publicly spoken to these subjects as well as having taught painting workshops worldwide, together with her late husband, the fantastic realist, Robert Venosa.
The artist keeps a home and studio in the USA and France, where is also represented in the permanent collection of the ‘Naia Museum’ in France.

12 - 2pm PDT - Presentation by Liba WS on The Apsu and the Seven Birthing Goddesses.
Once upon a time the great primordial Mother, Namma, womb to all life, otherwise known as the Engur or the Abzu, encouraged her son Enki to make humans from the clay she would produce from her body. With seven birthing goddesses to clip the primordial clay from her, and the magical incantations of her son, humans were created. Liba will explore and show how this Sumerian myth from the third millennium bce got
passed down to the Assyrians, then the Babylonians and lastly the Abrahamic religions.
At each step of the way, the goddesses disappear, and the origins of the clay disappear.
The Apzu becomes masculine and eventually all the creative forces are absorbed into one
father who creates the humans from earth.
Liba is a Franco-American Painter and writer. She lives in France but grew up in South East Asia.
Liba is the founder of Dreams and Divinities, a project which unites International visionary, fantastic and surrealist artists in the name of community and Love. Join us for a Stoa inspired conversation revolving around how artists can play a role in shaping the future by building community, inspiring that community, and innovating new ideas for a more sustainable world.

Rosa Beryl and 4-5 other conversation moderators/panelists, will start the conversation.

After about an hour, we'll open the conversation up to anyone else that's watching for questions and more ideas.

5 - 9am PDT - Melting Colors workshop - Oil painting with Cory Blair

Let’s get into some color flow! My aim is to provide a mini-workshop covering basics in color theory, composition, and practicing wet on wet (alla prima) direct painting in oil to better learn how to make decisive choices when at the easel.
With the portrait references provided, we will start with a few quick 5 minute value studies. Then will move on to 30 minute block ins using a limited color palette. Then we will paint a two hour portrait using a primary palette.
You can follow along with the exercises together, watch the demonstrations, or complete the exercises on your own time.
There will be an emphasis on drawing with the brush, defining Value and color families, surfing with the colors, altering mixtures, using appropriate amounts of paint, evaluating relationships between colors.
Let’s get to know all the tools in the tool box to practice some alchemical color melting!

Some of our best work and ideas come from places of total relaxation. Using the incredible array of colors, shapes, and movement that we can find in sunsets and sunrises, we can tap into our flow-state by playfully integrating what we see in the sky onto our canvas. In this workshop, Rosa will share how she develops her cloudscape paintings from a true mess of pigment on canvas, into something beautiful, playful, and inspiring.

Rosa Beryl is a visual artist based out of the rolling hills of Western Massachusetts. As a New England native, her life's work has been deeply inspired and influenced by the lush, green forests and plant life that she spends so much time with.
