Marketing Guide

GENERAL
  1. Wait to share Your Art Piece. You can post a preview but hold out on sharing the entire piece until the opening of the exhibition.
  2. Direct message people you think may be interested. They will appreciate the personal invite and may not have received the notification from the mass invite. This is a great time to reach out to collectors and friends and family that may want to support you.
  3. Build Excitement and Anticipation. During the two weeks leading up to the exhibition,  use the videos talking about your painting, close up footage, time lapse videos, etc. to keep the conversation going.
  4. Always tag the event page when promoting the exhibition on Facebook so people know where to go for more details.
  5. TAG & Support each other! Sharing everyone’s content will help get the word out.
  6. Actively Engage. Keep the momentum going by liking and commenting on everyone’s posts.
  7. ALWAYS TAG AT LEAST 5 OTHER ARTISTS in your stories so it is easy for those people to reshare.
TIPS FOR CREATING CONTENT

1. Build the hype
Take close ups of a section of your piece and remind your fans that they can view the piece in full on the ehxhibition.

2. Help your audience get to know the piece.
Detailed Description
Time lapse of the process
Video collage (Tik Tok Style)

3.  Action Photos

Design Science Studio - regen·era rising

Imagine we are at a festival, and the Vision Train is a stage in the Art Zone. We will be streaming 2 different sessions per day into the Train with presentations and performances from many of the participants from this years cohort. This is the beginning of a decade long program with a new cohort of 144 Visionaries from all over the world developing art and projects that are committed to creating a world that works 100% of all.

Jeffrey Plettinck has designed a 3D Train that will be installed in the MORA (museum of regenerative art), and the Vision Train will be linked from the alternate world platform of TOPIA. To have access to these exhibits and experiences you will need a special ticket. All programming on the Vision Train is free, though donations are greatly appreciated.

Please share about this event as well as the Vision Train specific exhibition and events! This is the beginning of a decade of deliverance. The Train just has 1 car in the current iteration with many more to come.

regen·era rising: A Global Confluence for Creators of Regenerative Futures

“The future is always first an idea”
Join us in the inaugural celebration of the Regenaissance: a decade-long global movement bringing together (r)Evolutionary creators, systems thinkers and organizations to imagine, collaborate and co-create a world that works for 100% of life.
Mobilize March 21-28 in a historical moment for planetary regeneration, the birth of regen·era: a story-universe created by the Design Science Studio to scaffold thousands of projects and ideas throughout the decade ahead for a future that is regenerative, equitable and just.
The Design Science Studio is an educational incubator for art that empowers creators to imagine a regenerative future. As part of the story-universe of regen·era we will also be launching 144 (r)Evolutionary projects, each helping co-create and propel the transition to the world we imagine.
It’s time for ART that changes history.
regen·era is a virtual floating city designed to be the home and heART of the Regenaissance, a cultural and social movement that seeks to comprehensively transform the way in which we think and live in society, redefining our relationship with each other and the planet.
regen·era appears on Earth in 2021 to show us what is possible within this decade. In our journey to restore ecosystems and bring about the principles of the Design Science Decade, we have woven the city with the principles of our collective mission.

The arrival of the city is celebrated with a week-long virtual summit called regen·era rising: a confluence of  immersive experiences, celebrations, talks, workshops, art and surprises - each showcasing the important, powerful and collaborative ways design, science, and story collide within the shared environments of Zoom, New Art City and Topia.

Join the (r)Evolution in a cultural exploration at the intersection of art and science, harnessing the potential to shift and propel the next hundred years of our evolutionary process.

“The clutch is in, will we shift up or down? It's Utopia or Oblivion.” - R. Buckminster Fuller
From weaponry to livingry.
From extraction to regeneration.
From me to we.
We are called to be co-conspirators of this (r)Evolution.
Join us - March 21-28 RSVP: bit.ly/regenerarising
The proceedings go to operational costs to scaffold Studio’s long term support for artists.
No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Submit a request at: http://bit.ly/salon4u or contact fmf@bfi.org for a scholarship.
We extend our depth of gratitude to all of our partners on this mission. The Design Science Studio is a program fueled by the Buckminster Fuller Institute and habRitual. Nested within the Design Science Studio is the Living Systems Art and Design Collaboratory, designed in partnership with the University of California, Irvine’ Emergent Media and Design program with the patronage of Mansoor Vakili. The immersive exhibition in New Art City was designed in partnership with Gray Area. Our live program schedule will be generously hosted through Presence. Tune in for brilliant segments from partners aligned with the mission.
At the Design Science Studio we are setting the foundations of an improved and regenerative Planet. But we can’t do it without you. This is our donor deck. Connect with us via email at designsciencestudio@bfi.org, collaborate with us, follow us on Facebook or Instagram and join the (r)Evolution.
We got this. Together.
