Call for local L.A. & U.S. Submissions:
We are excited to share that we have received another special invitation from The Hive Gallery in downtown Los Angeles to showcase artwork by
Vision Train riders & Vitra Academy students during the month of August 2023.
This is an opportunity for any of our US artists to exhibit your small works and come together in community with other Vision Train crew!
If you are an interested artist, please read through our terms before completing our submission form.
Submissions are due by end of day July 19th, but early works submitted will be considered for inclusion in show promotions.
All submissions will be reviewed and you will receive an informative email by July 21.

We have limited space, so it is possible we will not be able to accommodate every submission, however we will do our best to include at least 1 eligible work from each artist!
TERMS:
LA Artists: In-Person Drop Off: $25 submission fee.
Continental United States Mail-in Art: $50 submission fee (non-local fees include return shipping if work does not sell).
Fees are refundable only if both pieces not accepted.
+ Must have ridden the Vision Train or be a Vitra academy student to submit artwork.
+ 1or 2 Original small drawings, paintings or prints accepted.
+ Small works accepted only, at a maximum art dimension of 12 inches.
+ Art MUST be for sale to be displayed, and only art up to a maximum value of $500 will be accepted.
+ Upon the event of a sale, artists will receive 50% of their listed price, and the remaining
commission will be split between the gallery and Vision Train.
SHIPPING TERMS:
+ Shipped art will be accepted from within the continental United States of America only, specifically the 48 contiguous states.
+ Artwork must be delivered or securely shipped framed, ready to hang, complete with hardware and wire or equivalent.
+ Flat work must be framed, ideally under plexiglass instead of glass.
We're not responsible for broken glass in shipment, and if that occurs it may not be displayed.
+ Paintings with a side profile of at least 0.25" need not be framed, but sides must be painted
and it should arrive wired and ready to hang.
+ The Vision Train and Hive will handle the shipment of any nationally-sent artwork, but artist
must pay for shipping to LA. Potential return shipping fees for unsold work are calculated into
the non-local submission fee.
+ Local crew will not be held responsible for damages accrued during shipping, so pack your
pieces securely & mark packages as FRAGILE.
LOCAL TERMS:
+ Local Drop off artwork to the Hive is Wed. & Th. August 2 & 3 between 1 - 6 pm.
+ Local Pick up artwork from the Hive Monday September 4 between 1 - 6 pm.

Approval Notification: Friday, July 21, 2023
National Artist Shipping Deadline: Recommended by Wednesday, July 26, 2023
+ but in any case estimated delivery date MUST be no later than August 2nd.
